Ben Nishimura is a 2D animator and illustrator based in the Chicagoland area. He received his BFA in animation at DePaul University. Since 2021, Ben has worked for numerous animation studios including Nickelodeon, Mighty Animation and NAMU Stories. Ben's work is currently or soon to be released on networks such as Disney, Hulu and Nickelodeon.

Although primarily a Toon Boom character animator, Ben is proficient in other programs like Adobe Creative Suite and mediums such as painting. He also has experience in graphic design as the marketing/outreach chair of JACL Chicago's Kansha Alumni Board.
